On Saturday, October 16 we ran at the Ann Arbor Gabrial Richard Invitational and most of our runners had atleast average days, but due to hot temps, it was about 75 degrees by the end of our boys' race, most runners ran slower than they did a week before at the Oakland County Meet. We ran in Division II which consisted of Smaller class A schools as well as Class B schools. One runner who did run faster than at Counties was freshman Laura Sorbo, our first finisher for Foley in a PR time of 23:32.
In the boys' meet sophomore Steve Mance hung on to third place after a blistering 2miles(5:14, 10:42) to finish with a much slower third mile of about 6:22 to finish as our top boys' finisher in 17:42. Terry Monette also won a medal in 12th place with a time of 18:42. I'm sorry but I only have spotty results.
