Regionals

On October 30th, "Devil's Night"(or "Angels Night if you prefer), we ran our regional meet at Metrobeach on the shores of Lake St.Clair about 8miles upstream from Detroit(and obviously on the American side of the lake). We sent two to states and Laura Sorbo also almost qualified just missing by 2 spots and 4 seconds. Steve Mance and Terry Monette became the first two(and only two) Foley boys to make the state Finals in Track & Feild or Cross Country during the 1990's. Many runners also PRed including Parker Turczyn who's 18:42 moves him into a tie with Matt Duane for the number 3 spot on top times since the team restarted in 1997. Steve Mance and and Terry Monette hold the 1 and 2 spots on the list. Bill Salmonowicz is number 6. On the girls side Laura Sorbo is number 3, Angela Krolikowski number 5, and Katie Topalian number 7. I should have more complete results before the state meet.
